Operations/Scheduling

Build the week in minutes. Publish it in one click.

Lay out shifts by person, position, and location. Keep them as drafts while you work, then publish and every shift reaches the right person, on their phone and on the web.

Drafts until you are ready

Work on next week without anyone seeing half a schedule. Publish when it is right.

Swaps your team can handle

An employee offers up a shift, a teammate claims it, and you approve. The schedule updates itself.

Connected to the time clock

Scheduled shifts show up on the clock-in screen, so hours worked line up with hours planned.

Managers and the team

Build it on the web. Live it on the phone.

Managers lay out the week on the web, Monday to Sunday, with everyone's available days, days off, and time off already on the grid. The team sees their week on the phone, claims open shifts, offers swaps, and gets a reminder before every shift.

For managers

The whole week on one screen, with the rules built in.

  • Week, day, and month views, by person, position, or location
  • Availability, days off, and approved time off on the grid before you start
  • Copy last week or start from a saved template
  • Open shifts your team can claim, or you assign
  • Warnings for overtime, short rest, and missing certifications before you publish
  • Drafts nobody sees until you publish, then everyone on the week is notified

For the team

Their week, their availability, and their swaps, on their phone.

  • This week and next, with every shift's time, place, and notes
  • Set available days and days off, and request time off
  • Claim open shifts with one tap, pending approval
  • Offer a shift to a teammate and let the manager approve the swap
  • A reminder before every shift, and the shift on the clock-in screen
  • See who else is on that day and message them

Views

Every view reads the same schedule, on the web and on the phone.

  • Week
  • Day
  • Month
  • By person
  • By position
  • By location
  • My week

On a shift

Everything the person needs to show up ready.

  • Location
  • Notes
  • Attachments
  • Required certification

Rules

Set once. Checked on every change, before you publish.

  • Overtime
  • Rest between shifts
  • Max hours a week
  • Availability
  • Time off

Moments in a week

Everything between draft and done.

Availability and days off, conflicts caught early, one-click publishing, copied weeks, shift details, and the shift on the clock-in screen.

Availability and days off

People set the days they can work and the days they cannot. Approved time off lands on the schedule on its own, so nobody is scheduled on a day they are away.

Conflicts caught before you publish

Overtime, short rest between shifts, and missing certifications are flagged the moment a shift lands, with a fix one tap away.

Publish and know who saw it

One click publishes the week, notifies everyone on it, and shows who has looked at it and who has not.

Copy last week

Most weeks look like the last one. Copy it in, or start from a saved template, and change only what changed.

Everything on the shift

Time, break, position, location, notes, attachments, and the certification it needs, all on the shift the person sees.

On the clock-in screen

The scheduled shift shows up on the time clock with a reminder before it starts, so hours worked line up with hours planned.

Scheduling questions.

Do employees get notified when the schedule changes?

Yes. Published shifts and changes are pushed to the affected people on their phone.

Can managers only schedule their own team?

Yes. Manager permissions are scoped, so a site manager works on their own people and locations.

Can employees set their own availability?

Yes. Each person marks the days they can work and the days they cannot, and requests time off, from the phone. Managers see all of it on the grid before they place a shift.

How do open shifts work?

Post a shift without a name and the people who can work it are notified. The first to claim it, or the one you pick, gets it once you approve.

Does it warn about overtime?

Yes. When a shift would push someone over their weekly hours, leave too little rest after their last shift, or needs a certification they do not have, the schedule flags it before you publish.

Can we copy last week's schedule?

Yes. Copy last week into the new one, or save a week as a template and start from that. Days off and time off already on the new week are kept.
