Communications/Support

Every question gets an owner.

Give your team one place to ask for help with pay, schedules, equipment, or HR. Each request goes to the people who can answer it and stays open until it is resolved.

Sent to the right desk

Set up a desk for payroll, HR, IT, or operations. Employees pick a topic and the request lands with the team that handles it.

One owner, one status

Each request is assigned to a person and marked open, in progress, or resolved. Hand it to a colleague when it belongs with someone else.

Nothing gets lost

Managers see what is waiting, who has it, and how long it has been open. Requests stop disappearing into texts and hallway conversations.

Ask on the phone. Answer at the desk.

Ask once. Get it resolved.

An employee picks a topic, says what is wrong, and adds a photo if it helps. The request lands with the team for that desk, gets an owner, and every reply comes back as a notification until it is marked resolved.

Asking for help

One place for every question about pay, schedules, equipment, or HR.

  • Pick a topic and it goes to the right desk
  • A subject, the details, and a photo or file
  • See who has it and whether it is open, in progress, or resolved
  • A notification on every reply
  • Reply in the request, not in chat
  • Reopen it if the fix did not stick

Running a desk

A queue with an owner and a status on every request.

  • The desk's queue, oldest first, with how long each has been open
  • Take a request, or assign it to a colleague
  • Hand it to another desk when it belongs there
  • Internal notes the employee does not see
  • Reply with text, photos, and files
  • Mark it resolved with a closing reply

On a request

Everything the desk needs to answer, and the employee needs to follow along.

  • Desk and topic
  • Subject and details
  • Photos and files
  • Owner
  • Status
  • Replies
  • Internal notes
  • Activity log

Statuses

Four states. The employee sees the same one the desk does.

  • Open
  • In progress
  • Resolved
  • Reopened

For managers

What is waiting, and how the desks are doing.

  • Open by desk
  • Oldest first
  • Time to resolve
  • Export

Moments in Support

From question to resolved.

The right desk, one owner, a clear status, replies with files, what is waiting, and who can see what.

The right desk

The employee picks a topic. The request lands with the desk that handles it, and the people behind that desk are the ones who see it.

One owner

Take a request, or hand it to the colleague who should have it, with a note. The activity log keeps every step with a time.

Open, in progress, resolved

One status on every request, and a time for each change. The employee can reopen it if the fix did not stick.

Replies with photos and files

A pay stub, a photo of the broken scanner, or the corrected timesheet, inside the request. Every reply is a notification on the phone.

What is waiting

Open requests by desk, the oldest one on each, and how long that desk usually takes. Anything open for more than a day is flagged.

Who can see it

The person who asked and the team behind the desk. Not their coworkers, and not their manager unless they are on the desk.

Support questions.

How is Support different from Team Chat?

Chat is for conversation. Support turns a question into a request with an owner and a status, so it can be tracked until it is resolved.

Who answers the requests?

You choose the people behind each desk. A payroll question goes to your payroll team, and an equipment problem goes to operations.

Can employees see each other's requests?

No. A request is visible to the employee who sent it and to the team behind that desk.

Can a request move to another desk?

Yes. If a question sent to HR belongs with payroll, hand it over. The employee keeps the same request and sees who has it now.

Can the desk leave notes the employee does not see?

Yes. Internal notes stay with the desk. The employee sees replies, the owner, and the status, and nothing else.

What does the employee see?

The status, who is handling it, and every reply, on the phone or on the web. They get a notification when something changes, and they can reopen a resolved request.

Can we see how long requests take?

Yes. The overview shows open requests by desk, the oldest on each, and the usual time to resolve. Requests can be exported by desk, status, and date.
