A workspace holds people’s hours, pay, messages, and personal details. This policy is part of our Terms and says what the Service may not be used for, by any customer or member.
1.Treating people fairly
Do not use the Service to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone, in chat, comments, recognitions, or anywhere else.
- Discriminate against anyone because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status the law protects, including in schedules, time off decisions, or recruiting.
- Retaliate against someone for raising a concern, asking about their pay or hours, or using their rights at work.
2.Honest time and pay records
Do not:
- Change, delete, or round someone’s time entries, breaks, or timesheets to pay them less than they earned, or to hide overtime.
- Clock in or out for someone else, or ask someone to do it for you, unless your employer allows it and the record says who did it.
- Fake a location, a photo, a signature, or a checklist answer, or get around a job site’s fence.
Every correction in Time Clock asks for a reason and keeps who made it. Use that honestly.
3.Respecting privacy
Do not:
- Collect location, photos, or other information about people without telling them, or where the law does not allow it.
- Use what you see in a workspace, such as a coworker’s phone number, address, birthday, or hours, for anything outside work.
- Upload someone else’s personal or sensitive information you have no right to share, or more of it than the work needs.
- Store information our Terms ask you not to store, such as health information on behalf of a HIPAA covered entity or full card numbers.
5.AI features
Do not:
- Use AI output to make a decision with a legal or similarly significant effect on a person, such as hiring, firing, pay, or discipline, without a person reviewing it.
- Try to make an AI feature reveal information you are not allowed to see, or to act beyond your own permissions.
- Use AI features to create content that this policy would not allow anyway.
6.Illegal or harmful content
Do not upload, send, or share anything illegal, including content that exploits or harms children, promotes violence or terrorism, sells illegal goods, or infringes copyright or trademarks. Do not use the Service for fraud, scams, or phishing.
7.Security and the Service itself
Do not:
- Get into, or try to get into, another person’s account or another company’s workspace.
- Probe, scan, or test the Service for weaknesses, except as our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy allows.
- Upload malware, or send traffic meant to slow or overload the Service.
- Scrape the Service, use it to build a competing product, or get around limits on a plan, on AI use, or on sending.
- Share your password or sign-in, or sell or rent access to a workspace.
8.What happens if this policy is broken
We may remove content, pause a feature such as sending email, suspend an account, or close a workspace. For something serious, such as an attack on the Service or content that harms a child, we act at once and may report it to the authorities. Otherwise, where we reasonably can, we tell the workspace owner first and give them a chance to fix it.
Inside a workspace, the owner and admins also enforce their own rules, for example by deleting messages or suspending a member.
9.Reporting a problem
If you see the Service used in a way this policy does not allow, tell us at [email protected]. Security issues go to [email protected], and copyright claims to [email protected]. If the problem is inside your own workspace, your manager or an admin can often fix it faster.
